- 1. Select the desired attachment for your styling. For curled styles, use the curling attachments. For voluminous or sleek blowouts, use the oval brush. 2. To connect the curling attachments: Align the grooves on the barrel with those on the base, then insert. Once connected, you should hear a click. To connect the drying attachments or the oval brush: Align the dot on the attachment with the dot on the base, then insert. Once connected, you should hear a click. 3. Slide the Power switch up to turn the device on. Slide it down to turn it off. 4. Press the Heat button until you reach your desired heat setting. Press and hold the Heat button to activate the Cool Shot function. The lights will turn blue when activated. Release the Heat button to deactivate. 5. Press the Speed button until you reach your desired speed setting. 6. To disconnect attachments, slide the Lock switch downward and remove the attachment from the base. Note: When removing curling attachments, be sure to grip the cool tip. The barrels may be hot to the touch.
