- Intestinal lubricant treats occasional transient constipation and lessens the strain of evacuation after surgery, after pregnancy, and in cases of aneurysm, myocardial infarction, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and hernia. How it works: The oil stays within the intestine, coats the particles of food, and prevents the removal of water from the stool.
- Children under 6 years: consult a physician. Children (6-12 years): 5 to 15mL (1-3 teaspoons) daily. Children (12 years and older) and adults: 15-45mL (1-3 tablespoons) daily. The administration of a single dose at night upon retiring is usually recommended. Best tasting if stored in the refridgerator
- Medicinal Ingredient: 78% minteral oil. Non-medicinal ingredients: Citric acid, gelatin, mixture of natural and artificial aromas, red cochenille A, sugar syrup and water. Sodium : < 1 mmol (0.22mg)/tablespoon. Energy: 38kJ (9kcal/tablespoonful).
