Children 6 to 12 years: take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 10 teaspoons (50 mL) in 24 hours. Take the first dose at least 1/2 hour and preferably 1 to 2 hours before departure.
