- Fill tank with water and switch unit on, for warm mist press the warm/cool mist button located below control dial. To deactivate and switch back to cool mist, press the button to release again. Allow 10-15 minutes for the unit to fully change modes. To shut the unit off, turn control dial unit until it clicks. Always shut the humidifier off before refilling it with water. Always unplug the power cord and empty remaining water when the unit is not in use.
