This is the second book, The Worchester Chronicles 2: The First King of England, that Dennis Hunt writes and continues from his previous novel. Based in the South of Yorkshire Dales on a cold autumn day. The eldest son of Hereweald's, Swindhun, begins his first campaign as an English Guard. A new captain had been appointed and it was nobody other than Hereweald himself. The English Guard is the new guard that was formed after the old Wessex and Worchester guards had united, this was the beginning of unity between the two guards. The unity between Wessex and Worchester happened for a reason, this was Britannia's way of destroying the Viking armies. What does this mean?
