When the May Queen elect blots her copybook Nanta, the current Queen (and Fiddler From the Abbey) has to pick up the pieces. However this gives Nanta the chance of romance and to play the violin solo in the premiere of a new composition inspired by the Abbey. The Abbey in the Oxenham stories is based on Cleeve Abbey near Washford, Somerset.
