This condition might be expected with the children of the Open Air class since they were primarily selected because they' were anemic or there was a history of tuberculosis in the family. It is rather surprising, however, to find a Similar Situation existing among the chil dren of the other special classes. These children being among the brightest in the school, one might expect to find them among the best nourished. Nevertheless, 27 5% of these Chil dren are 7 or more underweight.
