Teachers are hard-working, resilient, and underappreciated. They possess a great sense of humour, a never-ending well of patience, and remember self-soothing mantras they can say under their breath to keep calm. Teachers certainly deserve a lot of credit and, let's face it, it's because they are underpaid... but if they weren't, then perhaps maths teachers could eat something other than cos-law.
