The main character is Melody she is just an ordinary country girl who joins the navy in 1959. Her navy career consisted of training and an MOI in Guantanamo Bay Cuba as a coder and telegraph operator. Today's equivalent would be a CT or cryptographer. Samuel, A wealthy businessman who frequented stripper bars. He owned a sailing yacht. He would pic Melody, out of all the strippers to join him in a cruise in the Caribbean Sea. The story tells of her life her disappointments and tragedies. Above it all, she manages to make the best of it and becomes very wealthy.
