Prestigious Shadow is a story about a high classed Negro family, that feels as if they are above other minorities, and how lower-class Negro families throughout the years, have unknowingly caused their-own social problems becoming "victims of their own arrogance" resulting in racist conflicting issues in the media and throughout the justice system. The story centers on the members of the Jones family who work closely with their local news broadcasting network and law enforcement. Whereas some of the other members of the family care less about the killings throughout their own or any other community, seeing poor families as losers. Until: A Change affects this high-class family's beliefs drastically, when one of their own is caught up in the streets causing the family to become directly exposed to drama, sadness, and the horror of a lost one, wanting to claim vengeance on the streets. Being oppressed by imposed state laws, this family further experiences depression, arguments, and misunderstandings. Things become so bad they are forced to call on a higher source to find "spiritual reprieve."
