The first Knafs Lander 2 Pocket Knife hit the scene in a similar fashion as the Landers before it - strictly in black and blue G10 to start. The whole point of the knife is to make it your own, right? Don't let us tell you what scales you need!
Well, here we are, telling you what scales (or knife) you need... Introducing the Lander 2 in Green Micarta! This is the same great Lander 2, but now outfitted with grippy green canvas micarta scales.
There are a few subtle differences between the Micarta version and G10 Lander 2 models that we need to clue you in on:
- This model features recessed scallops to make thumb stud access even easier than before
- Because of the contoured nature of these handle scales, the pocket clip and clip insert screws are ever-so-slightly longer. It helps to reach through the scales and get the correct purchase on the liner below
- The stonewash finish on the blade is much lighter than the blue G10 model. In turn it creates a deeper grey colour on the blade and hardware - which pairs nicely with the green micarta!
