Law enforcement officers throughout the world use different interviewing and interrogation techniques, sometimes with the intended results. Regardless of the outcome, not all of these techniques are humane, nor do they all honour human rights. This book explores some techniques to consider—and some which should never be used when upholding respect for human rights and life.
