The ESEE Candiru is named after a nasty little parasitic fish that is native to the Amazon River. The fish is small, just like the knife it is named after, but both are tough as nails. The most compact knife that ESEE offers, it is designed to be the perfect lightweight survival knife. Small yet a ferocious cutter, the Candiru features skeleton frame construction, with 1095 powder coated carbon steel. While high carbon 1095 steel is a top choice for knives designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for, lubricated, and cleaned.
