Kakarot was born on the planet Vegeta, home of the Saiyajin. He is the son of Bardock and Gine. Initially, Kakarot was sent to Earth as a baby, as part of a mission to conquer the planet. His Saiyajin name, Kakarot, becomes part of his story when he arrives on Earth, as he is given the name Goku.
