The Clubmaster, also known as a Browline frame, originated in the 1950s and was popularized by Ray-Ban, but has been reinterpreted and offered by many eyewear brands over the decades. The upper frame is made from acetate and is thicker than the metal bottom portion of the frame, but it's all style.
