Ceremony Reversible Blanket

Mini Tipi collaborated with Indigenous artist Morningstar to create the Ceremony Blanket. Morningstar designed the Ceremony blanket to represent a Full Moon ceremony. With each end representing ribbon skirts and ribbon pant to represent how modern ceremonies are inclusive and welcoming of all identities. Berries and water represent the elements brought into ceremony. The skydomes along the sides represent the connection to the spirit world. Finally, the symmetry represents the importance of duality and balance. Based in Gatineau, Quebec, Mini Tipi uses recycled materials that are woven in Italy and then cut and sewed in their Gatineau facility.
