As campers begin arriving at Camp Candle Lake, they are looking forward to camp res, s'mores, swimming, and exploring the woods. Eleven-year-old Izzie, the newest camper, is smart and socially awkward. As she listens to instructions on the first night of camp, the nervous girl just hopes she will fit in. When threatening letters start appearing on cabin doors, everyone is a suspect, including Izzie. As she embarks on a mission to determine who, or what, wrote the letters, Izzie knows she will need more than her intelligence to help her solve the mystery. But what Izzie doesn't know is that while she is attempting to overcome her insecurities and befriend the other campers, she'll soon be alone in a desperate fight for her life.
