BCLIQUOR Bowmore - 40 Year Old

A remarkable and rare Bowmore single malt whisky matured for 40 years in the finest American oak ex-bourbon casks and sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads. Around half of the spirit will undergo an extended finishing period in first fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks, adding another layer of complexity. Aroma: Juicy papaya and passion fruit, rich cocoa and butterscotch. Taste: Decadent cocoa, tobacco leaves, walnut cake and butterscotch, with subtle peat smoke. Finish: A lengthy and tantalising journey culminating in intense richness.
