The result has sent a huge shockwave across the world. It was like a tsunami that hits Europe and NATO because of Trump's well-known skepticism about providing military cover for Europe and NATO. How this will affect European politics and military postures, and the NATO alliance, are the imponderable questions to be asked by all. This result has caused great anxiety in Ukraine regarding US support of its war against Russia. And all other countries are scrambling to recalibrate their foreign and security policies vis a vis USA.
