Thank you for sharing the beauty of the world's religions with kids! We believe that compassionate curiosity, religious literacy, and thought-provoking education are important elements in building a kinder and more just world. And, as our communities become increasingly diverse, it is becoming more clear than ever that this work needs to begin with children. In this book, several major faith traditions -- including Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism -- are explored. Each letter of the alphabet is given a two-page spread. Left-hand pages have rhyming couplets that are great for preschoolers-Kindergarteners. Right-hand pages offer additional information that kids in elementary school will find interesting. In many cases, we explore how similar ideas show up in more than one tradition. We sincerely hope our book provides insights for both you and the kids in your life.
