Children learn by seeing and doing. Coloring books are a great way for children to learn and remember ABC's, and begin to identify objects in their environment, such as animals. Coloring books with ABC's and animals also help children begin to use the sounds of alphabets with words, such as C for cat, or D for dog. It also helps children develop hand, eye coordination and identify colors, especially if required to ask for colors while coloring. Through coloring activities they learn recognition of letters and animals, learn sounds of alphabets, and the first stages of reading. They also learn beginning scholastic skills.
